  • Elisabetta Sechi is the 'Componidori' of the Sa Sartiglia festival on Shrove Tuesday 2010 in Oristano, Sardinia, Italy. She is only the second woman to be given the honoured lead role as Componidori in over 500 years of the festival's history. She studies the star suspended across the course before charging at a gallop to try and pierce the central whole with a sword.
